Miami’s rich heritage and Hispanic influences come to life this month at Dolphin Mall, every Friday through Oct. 15.
Dolphin Mall, Miami-Dade County’s largest outlet and retail value shopping center featuring more than 240 stores, is celebrating National Hispanic Heritage Month (Sept. 15 through Oct. 15) with Latino-inspired music performances and artisan showcases honoring multiple countries and cultures. The festivities are taking place each Friday now through and Oct. 15, from 7 to 11 p.m., at the mall’s Ramblas Plaza.
“Miami is renowned for its rich heritage and multi-cultural Hispanic influences,” said Madelyn Bello Calvar, marketing and sponsorship director for Dolphin Mall. “We welcome all to join us in the festivities as we embrace and celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month with special recognition to Mexico (which took place Sept. 16), Cuba, Venezuela, Argentina, and Spain.”
Each year, National Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes the histories, culture, and contributions of Americans whose ancestors hail from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean, and Central and South America.
Following is the schedule of events taking place every Friday during the celebration period.
Sept. 23: Cuban Performance – Salsa
Sept. 30: Venezuelan Performance – Tambores
Oct. 7: Argentinian Performance -Tango
Oct. 14: Spanish Performance – Flamenco
