Royal Enfield registers 60% sales growth in October 2022: Hunter witnesses high demand

The export figure of the Royal Enfield stands at 5,707 units in October 2022 which is quite high as opposed to 3,522 units shipped in October 2021. The company saw a growth of 62% in terms of exports.

Royal Enfield recently announced that it has registered a sales growth of 60% during the festive season in October 2022. The firm sold 82,235 motorcycles last month as compared to 44,133 motorcycles sold in the corresponding period last year.

The export figure of the Royal Enfield stands at 5,707 units in October 2022 which is quite high as opposed to 3,522 units shipped in October 2021. The company saw a growth of 62% in terms of exports.

ā€œThe momentum for the demand that we witnessed at the start of the festive season has continued well into this month with October bringing in the highest-ever sales in a month. October was also extra special, as we rolled out the 50,000th Hunter from our production line. Since its launch in August this year, the Hunter has brought more cheer for us at Royal Enfield,ā€ said B Govindarajan, CEO, Royal Enfield.

In other news, Royal Enfield is gearing up for the launch of its Super Meteor 650 (name is yet to be confirmed) at EICMA 2022 motor show in Milan, Italy next week. Earlier, the cruiser motorcycle has been spotted doing rounds on the Indian roads and is likely to go on sale in early 2023.

The Royal Enfield Super Meteor 650 is expected to be based on the same platform as the RE 650 twins and will likely be powered by the same powertrain. More details about the upcoming Royal Enfield cruiser motorcycle will be out on November 8, 2022.
